Joachim Heer
is a Munich-based German retired photographer and artist. To this day, his works are still characterized by their sophistication and timelessness. Operating at high levels of quality, flexibility and creativity, his approach to any assignments had the aim to create images with storytelling content combining it with a dynamic, elegant and luxurious feel touch.
Born in the American occupation zone in Germany and raised in Bavaria, he studied photography at the State Institute for Photography in Munich. In 1974 he set up his own studio (fashion / beauty / food) and was accepted into the renowned BFF in the same year (BFF member 1974-2005). As a freelance high-end all-rounder, he successfully completed advertising, editorial and artistic assignments worldwide over a period of 49 years. Even today his motto in life is - based on Aristotle - «The whole is more than the sum of its parts.»
